Marketing happens throughout

Marketing happens throughout an organization now, which is why a brand's values have to be ingrained into every single employee - because all employees are touchpoints to all brands - regardless of whether an organization thinks that way or not.

When an employee behaves or speaks at odds with the brand's purported values, we find that the transparency of today's market reality will truly showcase internal schisms, leading to (at best) customer confusion) and (at worst) the dreaded inauthenticity that can kill a brand.
