Zeynep Tozum

Zeynep’s focus is the link between personal growth, performance development and business growth. She works internationally as an organizational development consultant and performance coach with senior executives and teams.

Her background includes 20 years’ global management and leadership in a multinational organization, plus a decade consulting in leadership development for business growth.

She specializes in working with businesses as a whole, supporting all levels of systems: developing new lenses to view where they are; creating a collective vision and business ambition. By understanding and appreciating both their strengths and resistance to change, she leads collective transformational projects for growth.

With an M.A. in Economics, after 14 years as an executive in Unilever she led a cost optimization project for Central Eastern Europe for Unilever Foods companies. Her commitment to grow business by building peoples’ capacity brought her to became Change Manager for Unilever Turkey.

After an intensive international development program for senior leaders, she joined faculty for erxecutive coaching. Zeynep was appointed to Unilever's Corporate HR team in 2002 as VP, Performance Development.

In 2006, she left Unilever to start her own practice, FarBeyond Consulting, and to become Professional Associate and Faculty at the Gestalt International Study Center (GISC). She is also a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF.)

Zeynep is a member of the Social Affective Neuroscience Society and of The Organization Development Network. She is passionately interested in leadership development in all levels of education systems, and is currently working with school leaders in Massachusetts school districts-USA. She is a founding member of the Common Purpose organization in Turkey.

She calls herself a world citizen, with a strong sense of cultural diversity nurtured by her native country, Turkey, as well as by her education and work over a wide geography. Her basic conviction is that every person and system is doing the best they can, given the information available to them. With expanding awareness, a clear purpose, commitment to learning, courage to experiment and expand one’s world, she sees no limits to human development.
